Info: Ian Read founded Fire + Ice in 1991 after several years as a member of Sol Invictus. The music reflects Read's keen interests in magic lore, runes, tradition, renaissance medievalism, Nordic mysticism and other occult mysteries. 12 years after "Birdking", Ian Read and his contributors show that Fire + Ice music is still outstanding in the modern neofolk scene. The well arranged conceptional recordings are refreshening a whole genre, together with the participating artists Ian Read has created another milestone in his musical carreer. "Fractured Man" features contributions from: Annabel Lee (Blood Axis), Michael Moynihan (Blood Axis), Douglas P. (Death In June), Unto Ashes, and Sonne Hagal.
