Led Zeppelin IV (Four Symbols)
Re-listing due to error in original listing realised during replaying the record.
RARE PETER GRANT FIRST PRESSING, on the sought after Plum and Orange Atlantic label.    Identifiable unique characteristics are:

  • Feather symbol on side two is the right way up.
  • Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular Atlantic logo reads 'deluxe 2401012' 
  • 'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock on labels. 
  • The 'Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn., U.S.A.' text is printed above the white centre strip
  • Omits the music publisher "Superhype Music Inc" credit.
  • Has the distinctive PETER GRANT credit at the bottom label.
  • Only this label has "Kinney Music Ltd" credit
  • "Led Zeppelin" printed in the plum area on bottom label just under the track titles 
  • Dark grey inner sleeve has lyrics to 'Stairway to Heaven' on one side and track titles and credits on the other. 
  • Matrix / Runout (A Side Stamped): 2401012** A//3 113 and hand etched Pecko Duck
  • Matrix / Runout (B Side Stamped): 2401012 B//3 113 and hand etched Porky

  •  Disk - GREAT SHINE to the vinyl. There are some light marks that are visible under a strong light. The whole album plays magnificently with no background noise even in quieter passages...EXCEPT there is a tiny scuff (see pictures) across a few seconds of "When The Levee Breaks," which is visible and causes the record to stick. Other than that, this is a good example as there are absolutely no skips or jumps anywhere else! Barely any ring wear. All text clear and visible. For this reason I have no idea how to grade it.

    Sleeve- Excellent/ Very Good Plus- Only the slightest of wear to the corners and edges. There are no creases to the sleeve and the corners are in great shape. It has the ORIGINAL dark grey inner, which has the smallest of nicks at the opening but no splits or separations at all. A bit of clear tape on the front which is barely noticeable. See pictures.
