Description
Super-catchy and extremely hard to find powerpop classic from Robin Hood country. Complete with a mint untouched (see scan) ‘First Steps’ insert-giveaway. Here it is, their best (of only two!!) and rarest 7”. This pure British Mod footstomper is definitely one of the best melody-makers ever made....you won`t be able to sit still, Even while typing this I`m standing, tapping my feet, and THINKING of this tune! Original first UK pressing, released on private mini-label “English Rose” in 1979 (catalogue number ER 1). The charming title holder is crammed full with sparkling summertime melodies, topped with fresh-sounding lyrics like “I Heard The Music From The Windows, I Heard The Clapping And The Go-Go Beat”. This model also appears on the BACK TO FRONT #3 sampler. Their first of two 45’s, also features the crackers “She Ain’t In Love” and “Let’s Go Cuboids” which are also real melody-makers. The vinyl is in near perfect condition (superclean copy). The sleeve is still in excellent condition. The only thing the band did wrong was not to record an L.P., DAMN!! Please note: there is also a bit dirt on front of the picture sleeve (see scan).
