Thanks for checking out this listing.  I'm re-listing this record after a bidder failed to pay for it.

This is an excellent, vintage calypso album from Fritz Vaughn Bryan and His Orchestra entitled "Calypso Party".  This is a very rare offering on Kay Records from Trinidad.  Most of the tracks are instrumental, I think I recall a couple with some vocals.  I listen to a lot of records so......

The vinyl is in VG++ and in close to Near Mint minus condition.  I hesitate to ever grade a record in NM- condition for fear I'd be missing something.  I've listened to this record and recorded it to disk, playback was excellent and the recording quality is as you can hear in the clip to the top left.  This record plays straight through with no skips, nice and smooth as you'd expect from a vinyl in this condition.

The cover is rated a strong VG and has some wear.  Wear on the edges and corners is average.  Cover is an import (with great art I must say) so it has that flimsy feel that some import covers have.  The print is in great shape and there's some light foxing on both the front and back cover.  The mouth has some wear, the original inner sleeve has kept the record from any damage all these years.  Not quite sure when this album was pressed.

I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so
bid with confidence.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.

NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.

VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

VG = Very Good
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally,never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a

"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.

G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
