Up for auction we have another very very special jazz classic for your listening & collecting pleasure. This is an actual pre release AUDIOPHILE test pressing from Analogue Productions Revival Series / Acous Tech / RTI. Presented here is the legendary duo: Ella Fitzgerald & Joe Pass with their release originally titled "Fitzgerald & Pass...Again" fourteen tracks of popular and obscure standards performed at the highest level of musicianship that can olny be attained from their cumulative experience, knowledge, longevity in the business. Originally recorded for Norman Grantz Pablo record label in the 1980's. This is an audiophile test pressing from April 2nd 1996 manufactured by Acous Tech / RTI, in the 90's they acquired the spectacular Wilson Audio Custom Tube Mastering facility. The equipment was installed at the RTI facility in California with Bruce Leek & Stan Ricker, mastering. Analogue Productions Revival Series were the first LP's mastered with this incredible system. The beauty of having the mastering facility in the same location as the pressing plant is that the lacquers can be processed immediatly. This eliminated any degradation in the lacquer. RTI has state of the art pre-plating equipment and produced some of the best pressings in the world. The vinyl is flat / clean the audible play quality is a strong excellent plus closer to near mint minus with very little noise noted. The plain white jacket is in excellent condition protective anti static sleeve also included and Analogue Production Series product listing sheet is attached.
