Description

You are bidding on a rare, original, seminal, doo-wop, 45 rpm, record from 1955 by The Five Dollars, "Harmony of Love", and, "Doctor Baby", on the Fortune record label, from Detroit, Michigan, #821.  The trail-off vinyl is machine stamped (not etched).  On one side is stamped, "821 F 28".  On the other side is stamped, "821 F 27".  The classic royal blue Fortune labels with silver print are in excellent condition on the "Doctor Baby" side.  The "Doctor of Love" label side is in very good condition with some light spots of wear.  The "Harmony of Love" vinyl is in very good plus to excellent condition.  The "Doctor Baby" vinyl is in very good plus condition with the exception of one very small spot of light scratching and one area about the size of a quarter of abrasion-soiling.  This area does not affect play.  The mirror-like vinyl is tremendous on both sides with the exception of the afore-mentioned abrasion area.  This was the first record cut by The Five Dollars.
