Description

TITLE/ARTIST: This super hard to find and highly collectible LP by the '60's group, The Five Keys, is in super nice overall condition -- both the jacket and vinyl. The album -- just their 2nd release for Capitol Records -- is entitled "The Five Keys On Stage", from 1957, and features the very sexual 1st cover, where the far left singer has his thumb sticking out in a very suggestive, "phallic" way. Whether this was done intentionally or not will never be known, but it was airbrushed out of subsequent releases. Check it out in the pictures below! The abum is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead and nearly all are highly collectible and in great shape. As mentioned already, this LP is in great condition and features 12 of their earliest songs. In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are both very, very nice, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the original, torquoise colored, Capitol Label, T828, in MONO, and in my opinion, is in absolutely beautiful shape. I don't even see many spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me very little play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl reflects the same kind of condition and is also super shiny, clean and nice with nothing really negative to report at all---although there are numerous, super light (and I do mean, SUPER LIGHT), and totally uneventful surface/paper lines on either side. JACKET INFO: Likewise, the jacket -- with the really interesting front side picture described above -- is also very clean with real no serious flaws, although there are a few very small scuff marks along the seam areas, and some really light signs of early ringwear in just a couple places -- but nothing too serious, believe me. But, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these '50's-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of outstanding shape so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$16.00 for the 1st LP and then just $6.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
