Vinyl Surface Condition: - VG: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality.  There is a bit of static but it has no noticeable surface marks or scratches and it plays well.  Shows normal wear and tear on the label and the sleeve is still in good nick (I don’t think that is an official term!!).

Vinyl Surface Condition: - FAIR:This record is a much loved favourite of my husband and has obviously been played many times and has a few noticeable surface marks and scratches. It has a bit of static and skips at the start of the first 2 tracks and on “Gumtrees by the Roadway” on side 2.   There is normal wear and tear on the label. The sleeve cover suffers from scuffing of edges, spine splits, tears, discolouration, and some writing on the front.

Record 3: AUSTRALIAN BUSH BALLADS

Vinyl Surface Condition: - VG:The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  The covers display normal wear and tear without any major defects.  There is a stamp showing place of purchase being Tivoli Music House, Darwin, Australia circa 1970 and a purchase price of $5.50.

Vinyl Surface Condition: - FAIR:The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays visible scratches. It displays some deterioration in sound quality, but is a great collector’s item. The label is OK but there is no sleeve, sorry.

DISCLAIMER: ALL THESE RECORDS AND CDS ARE FROM OUR FAMILY COLLECTION AND HAVE BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS THEREFORE SOME SHOW SOME WEAR AND TEAR. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS IN GRADING OF RECORDS AND CDS BUT WE HAVE TRIED TO NOTE IF ANY DEFECTS ARE PRESENT.  THEY ARE IN PRELOVED USED CONDITION.

MOST OF THE CDs HAVE ONLY BEEN PLAYED A FEW TIMES AND SOME MAY HAVE A FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES ON THEM BUT THEY ALL PLAY WELL. THE COVERS MAY BE A LITTLE SCRATCHED DUE TO NORMAL USE AND I SHALL NOTE IF ANY CASES ARE CRACKED OR DAMAGED.

LP AND 45 RECORDS MAY DISPLAY SURFACE MARKS, SOME OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCHES AND SOME BACKGROUND NOISE/STATIC AND SOME MAY EXHIBIT SOME LOSS OF SOUND QUALITY AND SOME ARE JUST FINE. I WILL USE THE FOLLOWING GRADING SYSTEM.

RECORD AND CD GRADING

MINT- THE RECORD OR CD ITSELF IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY. ITEMS STATED AS UNPLAYED OR SEALED ARE MINT.

EXCELLENT - THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY.

V.G    VERY GOOD - THE ITEM HAS BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES, BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETORIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE SOME SURFACE MARKS AND THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH.

GOOD - THE ITEM HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS DETERIORATED, PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES.

FAIR - THE ITEM IS STILL PLAYABLE BUT HAS NOT BEEN CARED FOR PROPERLY AND DISPLAYS CONSIDERABLE SURFACE NOICE; IT MAY BE SLIGHTLY WARPED AND EVEN JUMP.

POOR - THE RECORD WILL NOT PLAY PROPERLY DUE TO SCRATCHES, BAD SURFACE NOISE, ETC.

BAD - THE RECORD IS UNPLAYABLE OR MIGHT EVEN BE BROKEN. IT IS INCLUDED ONLY FOR USE AS A COLLECTION FILLER.

COVERS, SLEEVES/INSERTS GRADING

MINT - THE COVER AND ANY EXTRA ITEMS SUCH AS THE LYRIC SHEET, BOOKLET OR POSTER ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.

EXCELLENT - THE COVER AND PACKAGING AND ANY EXTRA ITEMS SUCH AS THE LYRIC SHEET, BOOKLET OR POSTER MIGHT HAVE SLIGHT WEAR WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS.

V.GOOD - NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR DISPLAYED ON THE COVER OR EXTRA ITEMS.

GOOD - THE COVER AND CONTENTS SUFFER FROM SCRATCHES, FOLDING, SCUFFING, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLORATION, ETC.

FAIR - THE COVER AND CONTENTS WILL BE TORN, STAINED AND/ OR DEFACED. INNER SLEEVE MAY BE MISSING.

POOR - THE COVER AND CONTENTS WILL BE BADLY DAMAGED OR PARTLY MISSING.

1.  All photographs provided in the listing are from my scanner.  I have done my best to capture the item in detail.

3. Insurance or Registration is not offered but items will be well packed to prevent any damage in shipping.  If you require any extra postal insurance please contact us via email. I will not accept any responsibility if items are not insured.

4.  Within Australia I use Australia Post to ship my items and postage may vary depending on your location.  Overseas shipping will also vary depending on your location.

NB: Some of our items are considered oversize and may incur more charges.  We will only charge you our actual shipping costs plus a small fee for packaging and handling. Most countries impose their own customs, duties and taxes etc. on items being shipped from a foreign country.  We are not responsible for any imposed duties or taxes on the shipment.
