Carlo Maria Giulini conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a programme of five Rossini overtures.
Works on disc: Overtures to La Cenerentola, Tancredi, La Gazza Ladra, Semiramide and Guglielmo Tell (Rossini).
Record details: EMI SAX 2560. Stereo 12" 33rpm LP. Made in England. First red semicircle label.
Condition of disc: A fine, clean and glossy disc - looks unplayed.
Date of issue: 1965.
Condition of sleeve: Excellent - the flash photography has been rather cruel and made it look more worn than it actually is - it really is very fine! Inner sleeve is excellent. Notes are by Charles Reid.
