Description
Very rare 1956 record on Standord 200. This is the original label and was recorded in the basement of St. Bernadetts church in New Haven, Ct. It was later purchased by Ember Records and re- released.
The record is autographed by Fred Paris. Five or six years ago a plaque was dedicated in the basement of the church. Fred Paris sang the song with an updated group of Satins and I had him autograph the record. I believe one of the other signatures on the record is that of Nate Marshall who joined the group in later years.
This is a highly desirable record that I've had in my collection since the early 60's.
I will insure the record for the appropriate amount in the US. International buyers will provide their own insurance if desired.
Label: Shows some light rubbing wear.
Vinyl: Plays with some noise.
