Description
Original 70's Australian 12" LP release by Flake "How's Your Mother" .Released on the VIOLETS HOLIDAY label SVHL-934365. This record has been in storage for a long time.It was always in a plastic outer sleeve and has always been in the tropics. The heat and being in a plastic sleeve causes the vinyl to become discoloured and gives it a greasy look.I have played the record through in the presence of another record collector.There is low level noise throughout(way below the music level)and there are a few 'pop's. There is no distortion of the sound due to the discolouring of the vinyl. There are ways to get rid of this greasy look using various cleaning products but I'll leave that to the buyer. Cleaning the record would reduce(eliminate?) the noise.There are no visible scratches on the record.It has been played only a few times and then put in storage. PLEASE NOTE:-The cover and the record labels are in fantastic condition BUT the playing surface of the record 'LOOKS' very bad due to the discolouring and greasey look,but I stand by my description of the playing quality. This is a very rare record. I combine postage.WARNING:- postage discounts don't start until you buy at least 3 LPs.It sometimes is actually cheaper to send 2 LPs in separate parcels than it is to send them in the one parcel.
