Description

Super rare misprint of the new Flaming Lips EMBRYONIC, only 200 made when pulled from production after the track order was discovered incorrect. These also came with one LP in black vinyl, one in blue vinyl. 150 of these were sold at the 10/15/09 Los Angeles Lips show, and 50 were made available to Warners Bros. employees. This one came from the latter. Played once, the vinyl is pristine; there is a mark and slight tear of the back cover surface, see picture. In terms of Lips rare LPs, this is up there.

HERE'S THE KICKER. Disc 2 is the black vinyl; SIDE 3 lists four songs, ending with WORM MOUTAIN, but actually includes SCORPIO SWORD as a 5th band;
SIDE 4 lists SCORPIO SWORD as the first song, with five songs on its side, when actually there are four songs and the first is THE IMPUSLE. DIG...why it was pulled, and only a small amount in production, never to be pressed as such again...ALSO...LPs come in separate sleeves, have not been in the amazing inner sleeves with inner-mouth inner printings. For art this time they've outdone the LP.

PIX ADDED of inner sleeves with printed lyrics and inner gaping yaw. They haven't been used, as the disc politely came with white inner sleeves also (seen in cover pic). Dig.
