GENERAL COMMENTS ON VINYL RECORD CONDITION GRADING: I am following the basic guidelines others are using. These records are mainly from my collection. I always tried best to respect my records, playing them with a nice Stanton Mark V needle on a nice turntable. If a record is less than VG (very good condition) or has any problem, warping or any, I will describe it as best I can.

CRACKLES ON NEWER RECORDS: This is the hardest part of grading for me since I basically believe most records crackle, and the types of records I am selling from the 90ies, especially. Talking about older records the crackles / sound quality discussion becomes more relevant. These records are mainly from my collection, many were bought and played only once to copy them onto discs or tapes, and these records still had some crackles when new due to low production values of the time, very common for the era. I will try to identify any surface scratches, but again the newer records (1990 and forward, where overall record production has been very limited) records often have this brushed across look, some crackles, and that's how they were when new.

COMMENTS ON CD CONDITION GRADING: I try to always describe the item condition conservatively and as well as I can, artwork and disc condition. In the case of CD's, I cut myself a little slack regarding grading down for light scratches on the clear plastic hard CD case, as long as there is nothing unique to the product about the case, in which case I will mention. I just prefer to not replace every plastic case for environmental reasons - hate to waste plastic. Thanks your understanding, and winners can always replace the generic plastic cases themselves for almost no cost if desired...

Try best to get it to ya quick. Thanks for looking, and please feel free to ask questions if need. Se habla Espanol! Happy Bidding!
