The Flaming Lips - Zaireeka - 2013 Record Store Day Limited Edition Multi-coloured Vinyl Box Set. Continuing my ongoing vinyl clear out and come to this rarely available on vinyl, RSD 2013 box set of the experimental masterpiece Zaireeka by The Flaming Lips. If you are looking at this you will know what it is and how hard it is to come by nowadays. This was purchased new and has been rarely played due to the fact that to appreciate in its entirety you are supposed to play all 4 discs simultaneously, though individually the disks are a good listen too. It has been well stored, always indoors through its life (never in a garage, shed or loft). It is in great condition throughout with only a small L touch of wear on box corners where records go in (see final photo). It’s likely as good a used version of this record as you’ll find on vinyl. As I said it’s not been played a lot, maybe once or twice when I bought it and a quick test recently in advance of this listing. The box / outer sleeve is in great condition, spine is strong and straight, fully legible and the corners are solid. As stated earlier, just some minor rub wear on corners of box entry. The discs are stored in poly lined antistatic sleeves and printed LP covers. There is also a full colour, which is immaculate, no splits or tears. The hype stickers from the original shrink wrap were retained and kept in the booklet (see photo). There are 4 x printed thick card inner sleeves, no ring wear to the LP card inners and no creases, rips or tears anywhere to found. The records themselves are all different colours and are very pretty indeed. They are glossy and perfectly flat with no warping. No scratches on the vinyl that I can see at all. I’ve taken a good number of photos to show the condition of the whole package here. I hate getting poorly packed records on eBay so rest assured that I’ll pack this record very, very well in as thick a cardboard mailer as I can find with added stiffeners and bubble wrap. As this is quite a rare record I’ll use the delivery service with the best level of compensation available. Happy bidding.
