Blues Jam In Chicago Vols. 1 & 2 was the result of a recording session in early 1969, at Chess records in Chicago (then home to Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf, with Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, and some of their blues mentors. Probably one of the very best blues albums ever produced.

With added contributions from the Mentors: Otis Spann(vocals, piano); (David)Honey boy Edwards, Buddy Guy (guitar); (Walter )Shakey Horton(harmonica); J.T.Brown(tenor saxophone); Willie Dixon(acoustic bass guitar); S.P. Leary (drums).

SLEEVE CONDITION
Gatefold sleeve can only be graded at VG (MINUS) due to the unfortunate paper scuff on the front top right corner. There is also some normal corner and edge wear. The inside of the gatefold which shows a photo gallery of the recoding session is in better shape than the outsides.
VINYL CONDITION
Record one. Excellent condition. Superb lustre on surfaces, a couple of light surface scuffs, not at all serious or effecting play. I have played this through both sides and the listening experience is superb.
Record two. Near mint condition.Superb lustre on surfaces, one light surface scuff, this becomes visible when viewed under a spot light and again, does not effect play.
Labels are clean, little evidence of spindle hole wear, no doubt that this record has only seen a turntable very few times.
Although the cover is not the best on the planet, the vinyls tend to compensate , and this record is very hard to find in any condition at all, so the winner should not be dissappointed.
