THE THREE LPs ARE INDIVIDUALLY TITLED RATTLESNAKE SHAKE, MADISON BLUES & OH WELL AND THE LIVE RECORDING QUALITY IS REALLY STUNNING WITH A TREMENDOUSLY ATMOSPHERIC SOUND

RECORDED OVER THREE NIGHTS IN FEBRUARY 1970 THIS IS A SENSATIONAL DOCUMENT OF FLEETWOOD MAC AT THE ABSOLUTE PEAK OF THEIR POWERS - GREAT STUFF AND VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Perhaps the definitive live document of the original Fleetwood Mac and recorded at a crucial point in the band's history.
By 1970, Fleetwood Mac had achieved fame both in their native U.K. and in the U.S., and their pioneering blues-rock was beginning to be influenced by American groups like the Grateful Dead (as evidenced by the extended jams on this record).
They were also about to fall apart, as Green was headed towards a mental breakdown and eventual abandonment of his group.
This three-volume set then, could be seen as something of a swan song.
"WorldIn Harmony" is further proof of the aforementioned Dead influence; the tune is a departure from the more traditional blues-orientation of the group's early material and "Oh Well", one of the original Mac's best-known tunes, is presented here in a blazing version that showcases the band's guitar firepower.

CONDITION WISE, ALL THREE LPs HAVE SEEN LITTLE PLAY AND DELIVER PRACTICALLY FLAWLESS SOUND THROUGHOUT AND ARE CRITICALLY GRADED AS NEAR MINT FOR AUDIO
THE BOX IS ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE - CLEAN, FRESH AND UNMARKED AND AS-NEW BUT FOR A SMALL SPLIT ON THE SPINE ON THE BOX LID AND SOME RUBBING ON THE TOP OF THE BOTTOM SECTION (both quite minor - please see photos) - EXCELLENT
