FOURTH ALBUM from the Mac - their first without Peter Green. Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwin's contibutions are prominant contributing a number of superb tracks. It was no surprise to note that this was in fact Spencer's final album with the band before leaving for a solo career. His lanquid and lazy vocal style suited the music perfectly which, at long last, gave the band a new, more defined direction.
Nice copy and so hard to find these days.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Reprise, UK, 1970 - original Steam Boat label
Vinyl: Beautiful clean condition. A few spindle marks and practically no signs of any use. Grades as a super clean almost shop fresh MINT-!
Cover: Only light signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed gatefold cover. Sharp corners (extreme tips lightly rubbed), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Wide spine is stiff and sharp if a little sun bleached. Hard to find like this after 48 years. Grades as a very strong Ex+
