FLEETWOOD MAC Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac Stereo in Mono sleeve 1968 1st UK
The sleeve is near mint, no carpet or shelf wear or fraying along the bottom edge. The front is laminated. A few minor handling creases from taking record in and out exist at top and bottom edges, two creases in total about 12 cm bottom open edge from top of dog's back down. The area of yellowish light above dog is a photo artefact, not a fault on the album cover. The spine is clear and legible. It is rare to find these with a legible spine, the corners very good. No sales sticker residue.
It says 7-63200 on the front just under the blue horizon logo and that is the catalogue number of the very first pressing of any Fleetwood Mac LP ever. However, on the back there is a sticker next to the Blue Horizon logo saying "Stereo". The record itself states Stereo and bears the number S7- 63200 which is the official stereo record catalogue number. This makes me think it was a transition record from when the label was phasing out mono and introducing stereo.
Side A: at 3 o'clock there is a light sleeve scuff end of track 1 , beginning of track 2. At 4 o'clock there is a light surface scratch that you have to look for to see, across width. 6 o'clock there is sleeve scuffing starting end of track 2 going to runout. At 8 o'clock there is similar on last three and at 9 o'clock really faint sleeve scuff, starting track 1, fading out and reappearing penultimate track. Very few searching marks around centre hole. Side B: Five o'clock, 2 light surface scratches over tracks 3 - 5, both look non penetrating with sound matrix unaffected. Six o'clock similar tracks 3 - 6. 8 o'clock. Few marks around centre hole. S7 63200B1
This is a record that has been used but it has been loved and cared for and is increasingly hard to find in good condition.
