One of the best-selling albums in history and one of the definitive records of the 1970s. Recorded during a period of personal turmoil within the band — divorces, breakups, shifting relationships — Rumours channels that tension into twelve songs of remarkable cohesion and craft. Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood delivered a record that moved over 40 million copies worldwide and won the 1978 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

The album opens with Buckingham's "Second Hand News" and doesn't let up — "Dreams," "The Chain," "Go Your Own Way," "Gold Dust Woman." Every track a known quantity. Produced by Fleetwood Mac with Richard Dashut and Ken Caillat, engineered by Caillat and Dashut, assisted by Cris Morris.

This is an original US first pressing on Warner Bros. Records, BSK 3010, on the Burbank "Avenue of Palms" label — green and yellow palm tree scene with the WB shield, correct for the original 1977 issue.

Lacquers cut by Ken Perry at Capitol Mastering. KP is etched in the runout on both sides — small script, easy to miss, but present and confirmed. Ken Perry cut lacquers at Capitol through the 1970s and 1980s on a wide range of major label releases.

Pressed at the MCA Records pressing plant in Gloversville, New York. The MCA plant identifier is present in the matrix on both sides.
