Description
Rare acetate of a radio show about tone deaf opera singer Florence Foster Jenkins. She's been called "the worst singer ever". But who am I to judge. Features an interview with her accompanist Cosme McMoon, who reportedly made faces at Jenkins behind her back to get laughs. Has an excerpt of her singing a song (I think it's called Musical Snuff-Box). I don't know how old this is, or if any others exist.The label says "C.B.S. - 940 on your radio dial" and looks like it has the call letters KFRE. Vinyl looks VG to VG+, but has a lot of surface noise. Two thirds of side two is blank grooves with arrows drawn on them pointing toward the center and the rest of the program (see photos).
