FOOD – Forever Is A Dream Jacksonville Pressing 1969 Rare Psych Rock OG.
Recorded at TerMar Recording and John Tolbart's, Chicago. Pressed at Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Jacksonville as indicated by the "O" in the matrices.
A couple of tracks from the album were used in a porno B-movie called The Babysitters.
Spine lists band as "The Food," whereas the label lists them simply as "Food." The front cover only shows 4 band members. The back cover features the missing 5th member (see photos).
I don’t know how to grade records but this is a rare one. See pictures for more details. Feel free to contact me for more info or pics. The jacket glue is loose at the bottom right and goes a little past half way. Came from an estate sale in an old house so it smells like an old house. Also, the first song on side 2 pops/ or ships right at the beginning. I can’t tell if it’s skipping because there are no lyrics yet. It doesn’t skip songs or anything like that. It’s quick. side 1 song 4 has a skip in it. I have not cleaned this record. From what I’ve read, a good cleaning may help the skips. My record player is a budget player also, so that could be a factor? I’m trying to listen to all these records as I list them. As mentioned above, they are from an estate sale.
