Description
"FORD AT THE FAIR" (RCA Victor)
This is a very rare transcription recording that was meant to accompany a film strip presentation about Ford's display at the 1934 World's Fair. When played, there are audible tones to indicate when to advance to the next picture in the filmstrip presentation. I do NOT have the accompanying filmstrip but if you have the filmstrip and need a record to go with it, here you are!
The record plays at 33 1/3, is 16 inches in diameter and is made from shellac...the same material used for 78rpm records of the day. It is very heavy and probably very fragile. There are a few very light surface marks on it, probably from the sleeve rubbing on it, but no scratches, cracks or fractures that I have found. Because of it's fragility, I will pack in a properly sized box in between cardboard and with either bubble wrap or other cushioning material to ensure hopefully safe passage. Because of this, I would prefer to restrict shipping to the continential US only.
Please note that you WILL need to have a record player capable of playing a 16 inch disc in order to play this record!
I ship on SATURDAYS traditionally but sometimes send sooner. I will advise if this happens. I accept Paypal and credit cards direct. Payment due within three days of auction end.
I've been selling records for over thirty years and know how to package properly, so buy with confidence. Please wait until I send invoice with proper postage total before payment.
