On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Fortunes called 'The Fortunes' and is a 1965 MONO UK FACTORY SAMPLE pressing!!!! FINDING A STOCK COPY OF THE FORTUNES 1ST LP IS VERY VERY HARD - BUT FINDNG A 100% GENIUNE DECCA 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING OF THIS LP HAS TO BE CONSIDERED AS IMPOSSIBLE!!!! I DOUBT WHETHER MANY COPIES OF THIS 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING WOULD HAVE EVER BEEN PRESSED AND IT MUST BE CONSIDERED AS VERY VERY RARE INDEED!!!! IT ALSO STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE WITH A 'DATE STAMP' (14 SEP 1965) AND A TYPED LABEL WITH THE CAT NUMBER AND TITLE. NEEDLESS TO SAY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' COPYS DID NOT COME WITH STOCK COVERS AND THIS ONE HAS ITS ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE OUTER SLEEVE!!!! THIS IS A VERY VERY RARE CHANCE TO OWN A GENIUNE 1965 DECCA 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING OF THE FORTUNES 1ST LP!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1965 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The Cat. No is LK 4736 on the ORIGINAL Decca 'Factory Sample' labels (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Fortunes at their best!!!! Any fan of The Fortunes, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under the brightest of lights!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear, NO distortion and NO nasty 'greying' of the grooves!!!! The record must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The plain Cover is in STUNNING condition - look at pictures - can you get much better???? It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO ringwear, barely ANY corner wear (NOTHING through the colour), barely ANY creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!
