FOSSIL - Black Night, For Your Love / Smile On Me, Wishin' Well (Pennine PSS140) - 7" - 197X
Very nicely presented original pressing of Fossil's ultra-rare four-track EP which features renditions of Deep Purple's Black Night, Graham Gouldman / The Yardbirds' For Your Love, Free's Wishin' Well plus their own Smile On Me. Recorded at the Pennine Sound Studio in Oldham, Lancashire. The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a few very light superficial surface marks - nothing significant - see descriptions below.
A-side: There is a tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with tiny pop and clicks and just a few slightly more prominent ones. Grade - EX-
B-side: There is a very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks plus just a few slightly more prominent ones. Grade - VG+
Labels: Both labels are pristine (see scan).
