Description
You are bidding on a set of four classic Michael Hurley albums from the 1970s. The famously eccentric singer/songwriter recorded for Rounder and Raccoon, wailing and yodeling like a brilliant loon. These original vinyl albums represent the best of the cult folkie-country-indie god's music -- New England's answer to Daniel Johnston!! The albums are:
"Armchair Boogie," Raccoon #6, with cover art by Hurley. 1971
"Hi Fi Snock Uptown," Racoon #14, with cover art by Hurley. (Promo sticker reading "The Youngbloods Present" on front.) 1972
"Long Journey," Rounder #3011, with Hurley cover art. 1976
"Snockgrass", Rounder #3043, with art by Hurley. 1980
The vinyl is in uniformly great shape -- no scratches, no dirt!! Album covers are in good-to-very good shape. ("Armchair Boogie" is frayed on the cover spine.)
