Tamla Motown (Prodisa) TD-063 / 1965 / Argentina
No Puedo Ayudarme (I Can't Help Myself) b/w Sin El Unico A Quien Amas (Without The One You Love)
This SERIOUSLY rare specimen belongs to the Triassic period of Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina, and probably most parts of South America (early-to-mid 60s).
But there are even other aspects to be kept in mind.
Some collectors know that the earliest Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina were distributed and manufactured by the RCA Victor record company.
However, this is not the case, because before that distribution deal they were temporarily managed by Prodisa (a small and ephemeral label) during a few months.
These hardly-known and earliest editions differ in some aspects, such as the rare Prodisa sleeve (it is virtually extinct),
and the extreme scarcity, as most significant.
In fact, this is the first and only copy I've ever seen housed in its original Prodisa sleeve!
This copy was found untouched and unaltered, and it was properly stored for 50 years,
so we can firmly confirm this was the original company sleeve.
And it is offered for the FIRST TIME ever on ebay in such ORIGINAL state!
As usual in this region, the record spins at 33-rpm, and the titles are in Spanish.
Record: A-side: VG+(+) to EX / B-side: VG+(+) to EX, .......... (It has a few light scuff marks, and plays excellent!). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO writings, stickers, dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear). .......... Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve (there is a split on the upper edge).
