WOW!! For sale is an absolute stunner of this classical classic!! Pierre Fournier with the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by George Szell. Made in Germany, imported directly to the United States and Canada. This is about as nice a copy as you will find...some slick removal where a sticker appears to have been on the front cover is about the only flaw to be found. Disc is perfect and has been ultrasonically cleaned for the absolute BEST clean possible.
MATRIX/RUNOUTS:
Machine stamped, forgive me as a 5 may be an S or vice versa, but this is my best approximation:
1: 57 H2 HR-WS > 138755-4 A Made in Germany
2: 7 HZ WR-S R(sideways) 138775-4 B Made in Germany
Sleeve: VG+
Thick heavy cardboard sleeve is in great shape- no splits, solid seams and would grade EX easily if not for the torn spot on front. By far the biggest flaw is that torn spot the front where it appears a sticker may have been. Anything else is very minor. Corners to the opening edge are just a little bit worn. See pics.
Disc: NM-
GORGEOUS glossy disc retains all of it’s original sheen. No scratches or scuffs of any kind. About as close to flawless as it gets. I’m ONLY adding the minus as a precaution in case there’s a teeny tiny hairline/sleeve removal trace I might have missed. I do not give out NM or NM- as a grade lightly. Truly stunning.

Perfect “tulip” labels. Only a couple of very faint, very light spindle marks visible when tilted under bright light. Appears to have been played very, very little.
