Legendary French cellist Pierre Fournier (1906-86) joins eminent German pianist Wilhelm Kempff (1895-1991) in Ludwig Van Beethoven’s great chamber works for piano & cello. Superb performance by these two renowned musicians and considered by many to be one of the best put to record. Records (3) are in NEAR MINT condition ( some light spindle hole trailing) however one side is NM- with a very light non-sounding mark. Box is Very Good++ due largely to some rubbing to surface, light fading to paper edges & light stain to top of box spine. Box is tight with NO splits. Illustrated booklet is NM. A great set of these fine works for cello & piano.
