Description

These records were purchased new when they came out—1939 to 1945. They have been stored correctly upright, on edge since my father bought them. About five years ago they were all played; they show some background noise, but not enough to spoil the music. The labels are dirty but there were no groves which skipped or stuck.
You will get the following Blue Note label records:   1a Meade Lux Lewis                       Melancholy (photo)  1b                                                     Solitude  3a Port of Harlem Jazz Men            Mighty Blues (photo)  3b                                                     Rocking the Blues   4a Albert Ammons                          Chicago In Mind (photo) 4b with Meade Lux Lewis T            Twos and Fews (photo)  5a Earl “Father” Hines                     The Father's Getaway (photo)  5b                                                      Reminiscing at Blue Note  9a Meade Lux Lewis                        The Blues part 3  9b                                                      part 4  10a Pete Johnson Blues Trio            Barrelhouse Breakdown (photo)  10b                                                   Kansas City Farewell  12a Pete Johnson                             Holler Stomp (photo)  12b                                                   You Don't Know My Mind  14a Port Of Harlem Jazz Men         Port Of Harlem Blues (photo)  14b                                                   After Hour Blues   15a Meade Lux Lewis                     Honky Tonk Train Blues 15b                                                   Tell Your Story  16a Meade Lux Lewis                     Six Wheel Chaser (photo) 16b                                                   Bass On Top  19 Meade Lux Lewis                      Variations On A Theme (photo)   19                                                    Variations On A Theme  26a James P.
