FRAME - FRAME OF MIND - NEW - LP RECORD
LP MINT & UNPLAYED (RE-PRESS)
Frame's only album "Frame of Mind" is an excellent krautrock/jazzy /progressive rock album that is mostly song oriented, not on the real experimental side of things. However that's not a complaint! There is great bluesy melodic guitar work, very omnipresent keyboard playing, and decent vocals to found all over this album. Highlights include: the very atmospheric opening title track with interesting lyrics involving nature, the longest track on the album "All I really want explain" which the main part kind of reminds me of the rolling stones particularly in the vocal inflection (no idea why, it also contains an outstanding guitar riff in the middle that sounds huge), "If", a very heavy song, "Winter", a great moody ballad, and "A penny for an old guy". A very good album indeed, I highly recommend it. It might take a few listens to really begin to appreciate it though.
