His extraordinary french texts are so funny and falsy naïve, Francis Bebey talks about everyday Africa, love and family, with a great, sharp and nostalgic sense of humour. The sound atmosphere , with a rhythm box and a moog-synthe with minimal and cosmic sounds, reminds few occidental productions of the late 70's/early 80's (as the mythical album of Young Marble Giants, or Logic System, or the music signed by the Goblins for Dario Argento's movies, the soundtrack of Liquid Sky...).
