A forgotten B-side turned unexpected viral hit, 'Pretty Little Baby' re-emerges on this lovingly pressed 7" from Republic. Recorded in 1961 by New Jersey singer Connie Francis, the track lay dormant for decades before being revived on TikTok, where its dreamy orchestration and syrupy charm sparked over 10 billion streams. It's backed here with 1957's 'Who's Sorry Now', another Francis classic that showcases her powerful voice against swooning easy listening arrangements. The reissue forms part of a wider international campaign, with Francis's multi-language renditions finally getting their due after years of obscurity. Heartfelt and unhurried, both sides tap into a nostalgia that doesn't feel forced - the sound of teen heartbreak from a time before irony. Francis was 87 when the track began to chart again - a fitting coda to one of pop's most enduring voices.
