Condizioni : copertina laminata su entrambi i lati e con ancora l'originale sticker rosso sul lato frontale presenta un'abrasione causata da una maldestra rimozione di un'etichetta adesiva nella parte superiore del retro dove termina la testa di Johnny Hallyday, altrimenti in perfetto stato, EX+ / vinile con scarsi e leggeri segni superficiali che non condizionano il perfetto ascolto con l'eccezione di un paio di minimi clicchettii; grande stato, EX+

Condition : laminated cover on both sides and still with the original red sticker on the front side shows an abrasion caused by a clumsy removal of an adhesive label in the upper part of the back where the head of Johnny Hallyday ends, otherwise in perfect condition, EX+ / vinyl has a few minor scuffs which do not affect play except for a couple of minimal clicks, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : ottima colonna sonora di Francis Lai che affida quasi interamente le sue composizioni alla batteria suonata da un dotatissimo musicista, al basso, chitarra, tastiere e sezione fiati: tromba, trombone e sassofono rinunciando in gran parte alla sezione d'archi che è presente solo in piccole dosi. I ritmi sono ben marcati e toccano il funky-soul, la musica Latina, il rock e un pò anche il jazz. Molto bella la canzone in Francese interpretata da Hallyday con efficaci arrangiamenti di Christian Gaubert. Dunque, in questo caso, un Lai diverso dalla maggior parte delle sue belle partiture per films che contavano di una maggior presenza dell'orchestra ma ancora una volta ottimo e raffinato compositore. Fra le tracce: "Générique - Cinq Pour l'Aventure" (A1) dalle sfaccettature funk con un ottimo "drumming", chitarra acida, basso pulsante e sezione fiati, "Rapt" (a3) lunga e sofisticata traccia dove s'incrociano sonorità funky espresse dalla sezione ritmica, note jazzeggianti del pianoforte, un tocco di buon pop, il tutto sotto andamenti che spaziano tra ossessivo, veloce e moderato. "Flashing Notes" (b2), tema inquieto con bel pianoforte dai suoni jazz e Latino Americani validamente supportato dal basso, batteria e fiati, "Cinq pour l'Aventure" (b4) un'altra gran bella traccia dove insieme all'iniziale riff impetuoso del basso subito seguito dalla tromba s'innestano vene di musica Latina e rock sottolineato dalla chitarra elettrica. Qui troviamo un pò di spazio anche per la sezione archi oltre al solito straordinario lavoro del batterista.

Notes : beautiful soundtrack by Francis Lai who relies almost entirely his compositions on drums played by a well-gifted musician, bass, guitar, keyboards and brass section: trumpet, trombone and sax renouncing in large part to string section that is present only in small doses. The rhythms are well marked and concern funky-soul, Latin music, rock and a bit of jazz. In addition to the stunning song performed in French by Hallyday with the nice arrangements by Christian Gaubert. So, in this case, a different Lai from most part of his beautiful film scores usually based on a greater presence of the orchestra but once again great and refined composer. Among the tracks: "Générique - Cinq Pour l'Aventure" (A1) from funk facets with a great "drumming", acid guitar, pulsating bass and brass section, "Rapt" (a3), long and sophisticated track intersecting funky sonorities performed by the rhythm section, jazzy piano passages, a touch of good pop music, the whole with sound developments ranging among obsessive, fast and moderate pacings. "Flashing Notes" (b2), a restless theme with beautiful jazz and Latin American sonorities efficaciously supported by bass, drums and brass section, "Cinq pour l'Aventure" (b4) another really great track in which the impetuous opening bass riff immediately followed by the trumpet are inserted some passages of nice Latin sound and good rock underlined by the electric guitar. Here we find a bit of space for the string section as well as the usual outstanding work of the drummer.
