Description
Franco Corelli sings Neapolitan songs. With Orchestra conducted by Franco Ferraris. HMV ASD 488 STEREO white and gold, first label. The record is in excellent condition, just a few very faint scuffs. No scratches. The sleeve is also in excellent condition, very little shelf wear, the odd small crease, and very little fading to the back. Recording first published 1962. (Also released on ALP 1923).
Please note that I am not a record dealer. I have been collecting records for more than 20 years and have decided to sell most of them. There are literally hundreds of ASD, SAX, SXL most of which will be coming on eBay in the next few months. Therefore please keep a look out!
AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. They are necessary to protect me from the very small numbers of bidders who waste time and money and who cause problems on ebay. The vast majority of people are perfectly honest and trustworthy and I am pleased to accommodate your wishes; it is the remaining 1% of people who cause problems. Thank you for your cooperation and interest in my auctions.
The postage and packing charges reflect the actual postage cost plus the cost of the generous packaging I use and my not insignificant time to prevent damage to your goods in transit. Unlike many sellers I do not merely use a large cardboard envelope. If I significantly overcharge on postage (it is sometimes difficult to estimate the exact weight) I will refund the difference. When the cost of items to overseas buyers exceeds £34 I will add an additional £5 to the cost of postage so that your item is sent recorded delivery and insured ( UK buyers please add £3.50 so that I can send Special Delivery Next Day). (Items are automatically insured by Royal Mail up to a value of £34). I will not send such items without insurance. Therefore please do not send any money until you receive an invoice from me. I use airmail but I will send surface mail to reduce costs on the clear understanding that you accept the considerable transit time and agree to pay for recorded delivery and insurance. This is to protect both you and me in the unlikely event of your item being lost in the post. Please see www.royalmail.com for a full explanation of their “international signed for” service and compensation. I always put my return address on your package and I always obtain a certificate of posting. If you do not agree with these charges please do not bid!
I am always pleased to quote for combined postage and packing to reduce overall costs and collection of goods in person is always possible.
Bidders with a feedback of (0) please contact me prior to bidding as a deposit of 50% of the starting price (fully refundable if you do not win the item) is required. I have regrettably had to impose this condition due to the large numbers of such bidders who do not pay. Zero feedback bidders not adhering to this policy will have their bids cancelled.
Payment is required within 3 (three) days of the end of the auction. This presents no problems except in the case of non-paying high bidders. If you wish an extension to the 3 day period please contact me before bidding. I accept personal cheques in GBP (Sterling) only from UK residents or Paypal. Paypal is faster because I wait for cheques to clear before sending your goods. Cash of course is also acceptable (GBP or Euro - see www.xe.com for exchange rate) when collecting in person but I do not recommend that this be sent through the post. Please do not send other currencies because they are not acceptable and will be returned. International bidders must pay by Paypal.
If you change your mind about your purchase, I accept returns within 7 (seven) days of receipt and refund as the item cost only (i.e. not the shipping) in GBP. The item must be received in the same condition as sent and the refund will be made once the item has been returned. If I incorrectly described the item the shipping will also be refunded. The buyer must pay for the return postage in both circumstances.
I always send e-mails to acknowledge payment and when your item has been dispatched. In the unlikely event that problems arise please let me know as I am a genuine seller who cares that your goods arrive promptly and in good condition.
It is my policy to leave feedback once feedback has been left for me and I therefore know that you are happy with the item and transaction. I have never left negative feedback and would only do so as a very last resort.
The most likely cause of problem is lost mail, which unfortunately does happen. That is why I insist on insurance when the value exceeds the base figure. The value of lost items can be refunded, and the seller’s costs claimed from Royal Mail. I have had to do this once when a record to Germany was lost. If you have a problem and leave negative feedback our transaction is finished.
If you do not agree with these terms please do not bid! You will be required to comply with them at the time of purchase.
Thank you and good luck!
