VIP MIO FRATELLO SUPERUOMO OST Lp by FRANCO GODI with coro 4 + 4 di NORA ORLANDI. Original Italian pressing on the CAM SAG label (9009), from 1968. Stylish infectious score to the cult pop art animation cartoon directed by Bruno Bozzetto. The pinnacle sound of Franco Godi with incredible vocal harmony by the Nora Orlandi singers. Every track is superb with groovy mood music and scat voices complimenting the visually stunning graphics of the film. Our soundclip opens with the Brazilian tinged scat samba of MENDEL followed by the rest of the Lp :) Fabulous arrangements and psychedelic FX mixing up bongo jazz / groovy lounge and fuzz beat rhythms with afro cuban percussion / baroque harpsichord / Umiliani style hammond organ / piano trio sounds / cinematic strings etc. The counterpoint singing is frantic and delirious but sometimes moody and sexy with Alessandroni-esque whistles on certain themes. Outstanding artwork sleeve showing screen shots of the crazy VIP Superuomo and Minivip. Big record with certain Japanese collectors. Rare OST Lp!!! Full tracklisting: VIP / MENDEL / IN CERCA DI LISA / LA CROCIERA / L'AUTO DEL COLONNELLO / ESITATION / NAUFRAGHIE ISOLA RELAX / VOLO ED ESPLOSIONE MISSILE / ADAMO JEPPAMELA / METTI UN TIGRE NEL DOPPIO BRODO / PESCI E MARE / VIP E IL COLONNELLO / LISA / MINIVIP ... SCAPPA! / VIP E LOTTA / VIP E LA GALLERIA / LISA / TERRA E FUGA MINIVIP / HAPPY BETTY

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few faint scuffs / hairlines. A few faded, old pressing residue marks. Light surface noises. Some soft pops / ticks in places (as you can hear on the soundclip). The laminated card sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with minimal wear. Just a little ring wear / ring creasing. Some ink fading below the Cam Sag info (front sleeve). Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare OST Lp!!!
