RARE original EMI Records very first STEREO press released in Chile in 1981 by EMI ODEON CHILENA S.A., catalog number 5260, with hand etched matrix numbers 5260A in Side A and 5260B Z in Side B, with traditional red/brown EMI Records labels. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!! WOW!!!

“TU PARA MI” was originally released in 1980 in Italy with the title “Racconto A Due Colori” (http://www.discogs.com/Franco-Simone-Racconto-A-Due-Colori/release/1316924). In Chile we got this album in 1981 with almost all songs sung in Spanish (the only song sung in Italian is “Il Mondo”) and like so many times in that period we got it with an UNIQUE COVER made of 2 pieces of thin laminated cardboard with front cover pasted on the flips of back cover. And as you can see, we algo got this album with an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE!!! Front covers has a blue tinted picture of Franco Simone, with his name, album title written in Spanish and EMI Records logo at top right corner. Back cover is also different, with name of Franco Simone and album title written in Spanish only, EMI Records logo and catalog number at top right corner and tracklist written in Spanish, translated to Italian, with full credits written in Spanish only and “Marca Registrada, Fabricado y distribuido por EMI ODEON CHILENA S.A. Santiago -Chile” (“Trademark, Made and Distributed by EMI ODEON CHILENA S.A. Santiago - Chile”). In labels the album title is written in Spanish only and tracklist is written in Spanish, translated to Italian, with full credits. It’s interesting to notice that song “Dov’è Finita La Primavera” is misspelled “DOV’E FINITA…” in back cover and “DOV’ E Finita…” in label. YES, this is A GREAT FIND for all Franco Simone fans and collectors, A MUST TO HAVE!!! A copy of “Racconto A Due Colori” sung in Spanish and with UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE!!! WOW!!!

The cover was already described and it’s in great EX or EX+ condition for both sides, clean and clear, complete with almost perfect lamination, no marks or names written, very light ring marks, some minimal wear at the edges, more evident in corners, some creases, no bends, no rips. The record is in strong EX- or EX condition both sides, glossy and clean, with soft scuffs and hairlines, and very light scratches, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in absolute EX+ or NM- condition both sides, clean and clear, with minimal spindle hole wear. The sound is in strong EX or EX+ condition in both sides, loud, clear and clean, no background noise at all (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only minimal crackles here and there, which are hard to hear if you are not trying to find them, most of songs play in absolute NM condition. Overall, this record is superb condition, with a very nice cover and an amazing sound quality after 33 years, with no distortions, no skips, no repetitions at all, a record to listen and enjoy from the beginning to the end which won’t disappoint anyone!!! And keep in mind the UNIQUE ALBUM TITLE, UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE and songs SUNG IN SPANISH!!! WOW!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
