Description
Original, 1962 first pressing of Phillips #1985 LP "Rhythm & Blues Party" by Frank Ballard with the Phillip Reynolds Band.
If you're reading this, you know far more about the scarcity and collectability of this record than I do. My uncle was Sam C. Phillips, and this LP is one of many he gave to me personally from his own collection he kept in his Memphis home. I don't see quite how to get any more legitimate than that.
Sold as-is, UNTESTED. No way am I going to put this gem on my less than state-of-the-art turntable and risk damage.
The record cover is in excellent shape with only very minor dings/flaws/markings as I've tried to show in the photograph.
The inside sleeve is original and has one major crease and some aging/yellowing.
The record has one small scratch which I've tried to show in the pictures as well. Other than that, it looks like it's never been played.
I'm happy to combine shipping on domestic and international orders!
