This album brilliantly captures the wonder of an America poised on the brink of President John F. Kennedy’s New Frontier. A marvel of sound and structure, the album evokes the music of the cosmos via revolutionary studio techniques, cinematic arrangements, and innovative electronic elements. Frank Comstock’s arrangements subvert the very essence of conventional music. Traditional instruments coexist uneasily alongside electronic devices and effects to generate sound at its most deeply visual, conjuring both the vast beauty and ominous danger of the galaxy beyond earth's atmosphere.

SLEEVE GRADE: VG
Notes: Original plain white paper. Warner Bros Records ad (gray text on white) and 15 b&w WB artists album covers on one side; 25 b&w WB artists album covers on the other. No writing, no stains, no tape, some crinkling. Two-inch split at center of right edge. Cut-out hole in top left corner corresponds with hole in jacket.
JACKET GRADE: VG
Notes: Light ring wear. No splits, no marks, no stains, no tape, some crinkles. Edges and spine (readable) in good shape. Corners are slightly worn. Cut-out hole at top left corner at the end of the gray arrow. (See my original scan.)
