Description

Hello there, and thankyou for viewing my items!
Having had rather a lengthy hiatus, I'm back to sell more of my collection/ 2nd copies/ records I think might be of interest to others. In previous years I've sold very rare PROG, 60s, PUNK etc, ranging from cheap record right up to £1000 records, and have invariably got good feedback. However, having been away from selling for so long I realise I need to build up current positive feedback again, hence I'm listing many items at buy it now prices, please check out my current, and coming here at my other items! Or to get the heads up on my listings before others even add me to your favourites list!

Here's a rare film theme from FRANK CORDELL & HIS ORCHESTRA the very scarce Theme From "The Rebel", the great 1961 Tony Hancock film. The B-side is another track from the film "Ou-La-La". Very hard to come bye, evocative themes, and of course collectable due to the Tony Hancock connection too. This is a lovely example of a lovely turquoise late 50s/ early 60s His Master's Voice label aswell! The WT tax code features on the centre of the A-side. Very early stamper/lacquer codes of 1R and 1A (second and third laquers respectively.) though granted there weren't loas of copies of these available to egin with, which is why the are so sought after now!

LABELS: VG+, very clean, no stains, graffitti, great crisp text and vibrant colours of label, not faded in any way, there is however what looks like a rather errant clearish spindle trail, running most of the height of the A-side label to the left hand side of the label (not breaking the surface, just showing up in the light) no spindle marks on the centre of the A-side at all, and only a few very ocalised and very feint (only visible when angled into strong light) around the B-side central spindle-hole.
VINYL: VG+/EX-, Just some very light surface hairlines (mainly withdrawl hairlines) detract from this otherwise beautiful black mirror! Again only when angled into strong light.
SLEEVE:EX-, A lovely crisp "Diamond" style early 60s HMV company sleeve,in very similar condition to the disc, no nicks or tears to any of the edges of the top-opening mouth, the central die-cut edges, or indeed any signs of wear to the edge folds of the sleeve. No graffitti, very mild handling wear/ring-wear, really very minor. A lovely vibrant, crisp sleeve!
