From 1957,comes Frank Lloyd Wright with his album, On Record on Caedmon TC1064 MONO. Both sides are of Mr. Wright being interviewed in 1956, shortly before his 87th birthday! Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the geniuses of 20th century architecture and designed many famous buildings, including The Guggenheim Museum in NYC, Falling Water in Pennsylvania, Unity Temple and The Robie House, both in Chicago. Frank Lloyd Wright was a leading exponent and founder of The Prairie School style of architecture. Frank Lloyd Wright also had private clients for whom he built houses including the furniture and detailing inside. Frank Lloyd Wright designed furniture and fixtures bring lots of money on the auction market and the houses he designed also bring lots of money! On this record, he talks about his conception of architecture, describes some of his buildings and philosophizes and expresses hope for the human condition. This LP is a must for any Arts & Crafts collector or fans of outstanding architecture. Frank Lloyd Wright has left his imprint upon the modern world!
