Description

This Auction is for:

TITLE:  Children’s Corner, Volume 1

ARTIST:  Frank Luther – Orchestra Directed by Frank Joy

LABEL/NUMBER:  Decca CUS-14 – pressed on 2 Shellac records and mounted in a colorful 10 by 10-inch 2-pocket Gate-fold Picture Sleeve.

YEAR:  1940s (?) – Please see my other Auctions for many 45 RPM Children’s records, Extended Play Albums, and Promotional and SEALED Soundtrack, Original Cast, Individual Artist & Christmas recordings on LP.

DISC CONDITION:  The records are pressed on Shellac and are VG+/NM. They look hardly played. They have not been play tested.

SLEEVE CONDITION:  The 10-inch 78 RPM size Picture Sleeve is VG+/NM. It is clean and the colors are bright. I cannot say I have ever seen one as nice as this. There is a nice Bio of Frank Luther on the back of the Sleeve, as well as a listing of other Children’s Records available from Decca.

SHIPPING:  The records will be removed from the Picture Sleeve and placed in new generic sleeves for shipping, to avoid damage to the Picture Sleeve in transit
