(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted below, ALL records are graded visually, NOT play-graded!)

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL AS EXCELLENT. This is one of those albums that are somewhat difficult to grade. It is somewhere between VG++ and NEAR MINT, just a notch below NEAR MINT. A few light abrasions ARE visible, but they are extremely shallow, superficial  and only moderately visually distracting (nothing significant).For the most part, the vinyl looks impeccable without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)          The records come in their original inner sleeves, which the label was using for their titles around the time this album came out (NOTE: ONE OF THE FOUR INNER SLEEVES IS MISSING AND HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A GENERIC WHITE SLEEVE).

(c)           The records are pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the very first pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, exceedingly vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from your compact disc!

(d)          PLEASE NOTE:  This - of course - is an ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital, newly mastered recording!!!

·       COVER #1 (regular cardboard cover, inside the slipbox)

THIS COVER IS NEAR MINT !

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 2 (front side) and 3 (back side)

-        Cover shows some light yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging.  (nothing significant)

-        Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine and the top seam (nothing significant)

-        1965 Christmas Gift dedication written on the inside gatefold,

·       COVER #2 (“metallic” slipcase cover)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

THE COVER IS NICE - ABOUT VERY GOOD++

-        The front plate (not the "metallic" plate, but the cardboard plate it "sits" on) has slightly curved and separated (unglued) a little from the rest of the box (by a fraction of an inch - probably not more than 1/16th, at most); this may be possible to glue back into the proper position with a minor effort.

-        One corner on the box has separated (splintered) and has been repaired with a tiny piece of clear scotch tape (this may be possible to remove)

-        Cover has some visible wear on all three seams

-        Cover has all four corners slightly worn (one of them is slightly "bald")

-        Minor wear visible on the bottom edge of the "metallic" plate (not on the metallic plate itself, but on the adjoining cardboard)

-        Small  line-like glue residue stain noted on the back of the box (about 1/16 x 6 inches in size)

-        Cover shows JUST A HINT of yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging.

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)

-        No stamps

-        No peel-off marks

-        No mold or mildew spots

-        No stickers or labels

-        No water damage

-        No bar codes

-        No RIAA stamps or stickers.
