FRANK SINATRA "SINATRA" MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB (MFSL) 16 LP BOX SET, ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDINGS, LIMITED EDITION & NUMBERED, #5246, also includes the GEO-DISC "The most accurate alignment system ever available to the general public", from the 1980s (1981?) CONDITION: VINYL overall is near mint, on the 1st two lps there are a couple very light and hard to see surface scuffs, we have visually graded all the records under a bright light, and other than what we have just described, there are no marks, smudges, or finger prints, the surfaces look pristine. The audiophile person that we purchased the box from said that he played once (and recorded on tape) about half of the lps, the rest are unplayed according to him. BOX CONDITION: the silver box is excellent, the front has some very small marks (barely visible on picture, above and to the right of the crossed "t" in Sinatra), also on one side is a 1 1/2" line where the surface has been slightly scratched, the top of box has a slight circular indentation, but there are no split seams and the box, except for noted blemishes, looks very clean. COVERS: the fold-open covers (see pictures below) come in a silver "Sinatra" jacket (partially visible on the last album cover picture), the 1st lp cover has a right corner that is wrinkled with small tear, we have included a picture close up below, there is also some edge wear, the other covers are mostly excellent, a few have some corner bends, some edge wear, this happens because it is a little hard to put the covers back in the silver jackets, a really tight fit, some of the silver jackets have some minor wear and wrinkles. The lps in this box set are specially Plated and Pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd. with Special Static Free-Dust Free Inner Sleeve, Manufactured and distributed by MFSL, Chatsworth, CA., under license from Capitol Records.
