WELCOME HOME ELVIS
This is a vinyl LP soundtrack of the Frank Sinatra TV show recorded at the famed Fontainbleu Hotel in Miami, Florida in 1960 where Elvis Presley made his first appearance before the American public after his spell in the US army. As well as singing on the intro, Elvis goes it alone on 'Fame and Fortune', 'Stuck on You' before joining Frank where they swop trademark songs, 'Love Me Tender' and 'Witchcraft'. An historic musical moment that was never repeated!
Elvis Presley is backed by Scotty Moore (gtr), Floyd Cramer (pno), Bob Moore (bs) D.J. Fontana, Murrey 'Buddy' Harman (drms) The Jordanaires (bv), plus The Nelson Riddle Orchestra.
Other artists included are Sammy Davis Jr, Joey Bishop, Nancy Sinatra and Peter Lawford.
