Description
This is a 1987 U.S. BARKING PUMPKIN RECORDS 3 LP BOX SET CONTAINING REMASTERS OF THE 1979 FRANK ZAPPA LPs titled 'Joe's Garage Acts I, II, & III'. It is Barking Pumpkin Records U.S. catalog number SWCL-74206.
This box set is still surrounded by its original factory shrinkwrap which is split down the right side of the box, which was the status of the shrinkwrap when I obtained this box set. This brings up the perplexing question of whether or not the shrinkwrap has ever been slid off from around the box and replaced, and whether the box set has ever been opened - In my opinion, based on over 40 years experience in the record hobby, it would be extremely difficult to slide the tight and fragile shrinkwrap off from around any record or box set to open it and then be able to slide it back around the item without seriously damaging the shrinkwrap or splitting it to the point where it would no longer surround the item. I can't 100% guarantee that this box set has never been opened, but the chances of that are not very great - I believe that all components of this set are very probably all present and in mint condition, but if not I will take care of any problems with the buyer. Outer box has some wear on the corners where the shrinkwrap has been split, no other evident flaws.
