Rare, Frank Zappa & Mothers of Invention "Recalled" - Uncle Meat 2x LP, Reprise # 2MS 2024. Vinyl is VG visually, paper scuffs and some light scratches. Play graded, LP sounds pretty decent, just by listening I would rate VG++ First pressing, vinyl sounds better than it looks.
A couple of light scratches zip across whole LP, sides 1 & 3. But while they look scary, they don’t make any noise. You know the type where you go to change LP and "oops", tone arm zips across, leaving a mark, but not deep. No nasty “pops or ticks” just the common background noise in quieter areas and between songs, no skips. Gatefold cover lists “ 9 kinds of industrial pollution “ and “ Electric Aunt Jemina” Gatefold Cover is EX, has heavier shrink that has saved cover through all these years. Some seamsplit in upper front, otherwise very nice, all print and pictures are great. Label list reads ‘ 400 Days of the Year “ and “Electric Aunt Jemina “ Where lyrics are listed in gatefold cover, song title is “ Electric Aunt Jemima” Thus it was rejected by Frank Zappa and recalled, record execs censorship issues. Inner sleeves have pictures and quotes and are EX . Unfortunately this copy no longer has the nifty 12 page book. Yet still a nice collector's LP, that you can even listen to.
