Description
Artist: FRANK ZAPPA
Title: “Assault on New York – The Toxic Shock Trilogy”
Label: MAGPIE RECORDS. Three discs, stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Discs 1 and 2 have yellow labels with black text; disc 3 has a white label with black text. Catalog numbers are MGP 3001, 3003, 3004.
Date: 1981.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty! Has been played a small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple slight hairline paper scuffs but no serious or audible marks or problems. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity. Labels are clean.
COVER: Box is beautiful NM- with flawless top and bottom panels. Seams and spine are excellent, except one seam has some slight scuffing and a tiny flaked spot.
Box includes two paper inserts in EXCELLENT condition – square cover page with title and black and white artwork, and letter size sheet with descriptions and small artwork for each disc. (NOTE: on all copies I have seen, the square cover page has been taped onto the box – this copy has never been taped, so the title page and box top are immaculate, with no tape marks!!)
A MUST for the serious Zappa fan - you will not find a nicer copy of this awesome performance.
