Beautiful 1966 pressing copy of the first Mothers of Invention album, Freak Out! on Verve double-LP V6-5005-2. No map ad inside gatefold but this is a true 1966 pressing with the "tableaus" mistake on the label and "Third Story Music" credit. Both discs are very nearly mint and play flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some of those streaks and spots that are made over time by the acid in the paper sleeve, but it isn't damage at all. Also maybe one or two completely superficial and inconsequential tiny sleeve scuffs, but barely. Really these discs are beautiful and play perfectly. The cover is also remarkably clean with almost none of the usual ugly ring wear. Just a faint hint. There is a little corner and edge wear at the lower left, and gentle signs of minor age and shelfwear but really this is a beautiful cover, and spectacular discs. A lovely original copy!
