Description

Nothing can make you laugh like the wonderful sarcasm and humor of Frank Zappa! This rare LP with the cover reversed is called We're Only in It for the Money and is the third studio album by American rock band Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, released in 1968 by Verve Records. As with the band's first two efforts, it is a concept album, and satirizes left and right-wing politics, particularly the hippie subculture, as well as the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Many Record shops reversed the cover, like this LP, so that people could see the true Sgt Peppers parody cover.This album encompasses rock, experimental music, and psychedelic rock, with orchestral segments deriving from the recording sessions for Lumpy Gravy and is the first part of a conceptual continuity. This album features great songs like "Who Needs the Peace Corps?" , "Absolutely Free" , "Let's Make the Water Turn Black" and "Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance" !


The Cover is in Very Good Condition(shows a lot of wear, stains etc...see pictures), The Vinyl is in Very Good condition(several light scratches), but still plays without skips.
