While most of the discussions of Frank Zappa have to do with his satirical and off-color lyrics, the fact remains that he was one of the finest and most underappreciated guitarists around. This collection places the spotlight squarely on Zappa's mastery of the guitar. Recorded for the most part in 1979 and 1980 (with a few tracks dating as far back as 1977), Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar is simply a collection of fantastic guitar pieces.

LABELS: The record labels are PRISTINE with barely any evidence of any spindle traces. THESE RECORDS ARE VIRTUALLY UNPLAYED!!!
VINYL Visual: All 3 records still retain their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN!! The surfaces do display some light hairlines caused by movement of the records within their inner sleeves within the box but these have absolutely NO audio consequence WHATSOEVER!!!
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING!! - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY strong and extremely VIBRANT!! All 6 sides play through AS NEW!! with NO clicks, NO pops, NO scratches and NO surface noise AT ALL!!! SUPERB SET!! Must be graded as MINT for audio!! as there is absolutely NOTHING to fault the playback AT ALL!!
BOX: The BOX is also in as near to MINT condition as you could possibly get!! and has NO wear/dents or marks and is just about AS-NEW!!
INNER SLEEVES: The 3 original inner sleeves are in EXCELLENT condition with NO splits, just some handling creases. (see pics). The vinyls are now housed in 3 new inner sleeve - and will be posted to you in these sleeves - as I believe inner sleeves should be used as inserts only as they nearly always cause damage to the vinyl surfaces over time, or are, in fact, split by the vinyl itself!!
The records will be padded inside the box for transit as they tend to rattle around a bit otherwise
